These are the moments of our January. Our crisp winter days kept warm by smiles and spooning. Lena holds my face in her hands and leans close to coo her secrets. I can almost understand her sweet language. She tells me she feels safe, confident, and loved. She tells me we are enough. I tell her she's my whole world. And when Daddy gets home she runs to his arms. In these moments we are okay, perfect even, just sharing all that we have with each other.
