I have been driving the back roads lately. To be honest, at first I was doing it because I had to. My car was acting up when I went over 55mph, but now I'm doing it because I want to.
Lena and I go slow, pack the camera and explore where we live via the back roads, the dirt roads, the loooong way. And its beautiful! With Spring nearly here there are new buds and blooms every day.
These are what we found today on our way to town.
I'm content in knowing that I taught Lena something valuable today. I taught her that it's okay to stop what you're doing a take a moment with nature. To value these moments where there is nothing so important that you can't stop to take in the color of the season's first flowers.
Get your toes dirty with soil. Stain your fingers and nose with pollen.
Enjoy what today has to offer.
